Gustav Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach was a prominent German industrialist and the head of the Krupp family, which owned and operated the Krupp steelworks and arms manufacturing company. He played a significant role in the German armaments industry during World War I and World War II. After World War II, he was indicted for war crimes and crimes against humanity but was deemed unfit to stand trial due to his poor health. He passed away in 1950.
