Josef Pilsudski
Josef Pilsudski was a Polish statesman and military leader who played a key role in the restoration of Poland's independence in 1918. He served as the Chief of State (1918-1922) and later as the Marshal of Poland (1926-1935). Pilsudski was known for his efforts to modernize and strengthen the Polish state, as well as for his leadership during the Polish-Soviet War. He is considered a national hero in Poland for his contributions to the country's independence and sovereignty.
