Miklos von Nagybanya Horthy
Miklós Horthy, also known as Miklós Horthy de Nagybánya, was a Hungarian admiral and statesman who served as the regent of the Kingdom of Hungary from 1920 to 1944. He played a significant role in Hungarian politics during the interwar period and World War II. Horthy's leadership was marked by his efforts to maintain Hungary's independence and territorial integrity, as well as his controversial alliance with Nazi Germany. After World War II, he was captured by Allied forces and later lived in exile until his death in 1957.
